Enrollment Process
The following steps outline the admissions process which begins in early March and will run through July. CHMS does not hold a waiting list. To enroll please attend a tour. Tours are held each summer, with dates and times announced on our social media pages.
Returning Families
Families currently enrolled at CHMS will be given first choice of classroom placement for the upcoming school year. Classroom Enrollment Forms are due by early April to hold your child's spot for the upcoming school year. When you re-enroll, we’ll ask you to update your child’s medical records, release forms, emergency contacts and other personal information.
Prospective Family Tours
Each Summer tours are held for prospective families. During this tour families will visit the school, meet the teachers and learn about Montessori Education. Tours take approximately 20 minutes and we ask you to bring your child on the tour.
Following tours families will receive an email with registration information you will pay a $150 registration fee to hold your child's place. In order to register a tour is required.
If no opening is available for the upcoming school year, families will need to contact CHMS the following summer if enrollment is still desired. CHMS does not hold a waiting list, families who attend tours are enrolled until classrooms are full.
Once you have filled out an application, attended a tour and paid the registration fee the school will confirm enrollment and contact you with any necessary communications to ensure you and your child are ready to attend school on the specified start date.
Two days prior to school starting, new families will have tours and a primary practice day. These dates and times are mailed to you along with your invoice.
